The chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and mango lassi were delicious! I also met the owner, Benjamin. He was so friendly and welcoming that he made me feel like family! I highly recommend this restaurant to those who are visiting New Jersey or New York.

We had the palak kofta and tandoori paneer sizzler. Both dishes tasted great. We really loved the fact that they serve sizzlers - not many Indian restaurants in this area do and this was a nice touch of nostalgia. The service was great. The decor is tasteful and the space feels intimate. My only note would be about the seating. There is a table for larger parties situated at the centre of the restaurant. When we were dining in, this table was occupied and the group was rather loud (you can even hear them in the background of the video added as part of the review). That dampened the experience a little bit. The restaurant could look into seating guests better. The rest of our experience was incredible. Overall I would recommend the place and I look forward to trying other dishes on the menu!

Authentic Indian Food. Great service from Sue, very attentive and hospitable. The tamarind eggplant is a must get. Butter chicken and Lamb Biryani both were incredible as well. And the best Naan i've ver had! Light and crispy, not doughy. Perfect!

We liked the tomato soup (it was very creamy and perfect for the weather), samosa chat (could have more of a kick from the green chutney) and the paneer biryani. In desserts, we loved their moong dal halwa! The only thing I’d say is that the spice level is very low, we asked for medium but felt it was bland so we had them add more spice. Either way great option for Indian place near Grove street.

First time at Clove Garden JC. Steven welcomed us with peacefulness and a smile. He started out suggesting a mango lassi (beverage) which my niece enjoyed so much! The environment was so cute, quiet, and set with dim lighting. It makes you want to take your time and enjoy every bit of your meal. Food was very good! Thank you for a great lunch, we will be back soon!
